Who i am
Hello everyone!
My name is Roberto Saitta and i'm a local hiking guide, with years of experience leading nature and adventure enthusiasts in discovering Mount Etna.
The Mount Etna Nature park, UNESCO Site, is one of the most important place of interest in Sicily and it showcases, like an open-spaces museum, the stunning diversity of landscapes shaped by the volcanic activity, a wide range of ecosystems and examples of ancient human constructions that take us back in time.

I'm here to show you another way to visit Mount Etna, my way, far from the usual itineraries, through family guided tours and adventure hikes for all ages!

Half-day experience
Like in a museum, you will be guided to discover the main places of interest on the volcano.
Craters formed by different volcano eruptions over the time, immense lava desert created by lava flows, finally the ecosystems and the typical Mt.Etna mountain rural landscapes.
The chosen itineraries can be followed by anyone, even without in-depth knowledge of the area; however the presence of a local guide who knows and talks about the places certainly enriches the experience.

Full day experience
You will be guided to discover the famous "Valle del Bove", one of the most evocative panoramic points on the hight altitude of Mt.Etna, and you will enjoy the most naturalistic areas of the volcano.
The chosen itineraries can sometimes be traveled independently but require knowledge of the area, orientation skills and excellent psycho-physical condition; so the presence of a local guide who knows and talks about the places certainly enriches the experience and makes the experience safer.

Hikes on Mt.Etna
Full day experience
You will be guided to discover the lesser-known routes in the Mt.Etna Regional Park.
The park, established in 1987, is so large that it required several days and many itineraries to explore.
Therefore, it is a unique opportunity for hike lovers to deepen their knowdlege of the Mt.Etna volcanic landscapes (always different) and in some cases, going well beyond the territoy of the volcano.
